Two beautiful bone china commemorative mugs 8.5 cms high, capacity 250ml (approx. 8 fl.oz)

Set of two different designs to commemorate our first chair, Bruce Kent. One has an original design of a tortoise on one side and a hare on the other. The quotation from Bruce Kent reads: ‘When it comes to social change, my money is firmly on the tortoise rather than the hare’ .

The other has a photo of a smiling Bruce with words he quoted often, from the opening paragraph of the Preamble to the UN Charter: “We the peoples of the United Nations, determined to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war..”
